This morning I ran three miles outside. Outside, people! I've been running on the treadmill for a little over a year and recently I switched to running outside. It's been hard. It felt like I was starting at the beginning again. So those three miles were the measure of success for me.

I also think I may have trimmed my 15 minute mile to 10 minutes, unless I was so high on victory that I read the clock wrong.
